Assunta Crupi-Pogliano has spent many years teaching EAL and Languages, firstly in the secondary school setting and later in the adult education sector. She always loved teaching pre-beginner and beginner students and enjoyed creating user-friendly learning materials, carefully scaffolded and sequenced to allow students to slowly develop their skills and confidence.

Now her resources are available to everyone through The Initial EAL Workbook (2nd ed.), which is designed for learners studying at ‘Initial’ or ‘pre-beginner literacy’ level.
