We are ESOL/EAL teachers in Australia, who often started off writing for other publishers, but then decided to take the self-publishing path and create the resources that we’d love to use ourselves. Lauren Piovesan is based in Queensland, where she creates her series of multi-level digital and paperback ESLReads readers for young adult and adult learners. Her website is eslreads.com.

Carmel Davies and Sharon Duff  live in Victoria, and have written a huge range of materials for CaLD learners. Their publishing venture, Urban Lyrebirds, publishes Carmel and Sharon’s Sing with me! workbooks and reading books, and the late Maggie Power’s much-loved Passages to English books.
