Many of us have free samples of our resources online on our websites or sales sites.
However, what can you find that’s a substantial resource, and also Australian? (Guaranteed to offer cultural insights, and not to need changes to spelling and vocabulary.)
From government-funded providers:
The AMEP Online site, funded by the Department of Home Affairs, offers resources for the Adult Migrant English Program. These are free to access: these are mini-study units featuring the EAL Certificate units and other topics on the home page, plus pre-beginner and beginner English Ready workbooks in the Teacher’s Resources section.
From TV channels SBS and ABC:
The Life Chat episodes on the ABC Education YouTube channel are particularly fun!
From other non-commercial funded projects:
English for Swimming from Navitas.
